Create: Sunglasses Organizer

Sunglasses are one of those accessories that can never be easily stored. They somehow manage to end up at the bottom of a drawer or purse, scratched and unsalvageable. Unless mine came in a nice box, this is undoubtably how they end up. To save the last of my glasses, I came up with this super simple DIY to display my glasses and keep them in mint condition!

Supplies:

                  • large frame
                  • tacky glue
                  • twine or sturdy string
                  • fabric (I chose a burlap material)

Start with the empty frame and fabric material, then remove the back of the frame from the border and place it face down on top of the fabric. Tip: double fold the fabric if it is see through or has any gaps (such as burlap).

Trace around the border of the frame back leaving about an extra inch of material. You will use this later to fold over and glue. Use a light colored pen or sharpie to ensure the ink doesn't bleed through to the front.

Using tacky glue, secure the fabric to the frame backing. You may need to use some weights for a few minutes while the glue dries so the fabric stays in place.

Flip the frame backing over and grab some string or twine. I used the sunglasses to establish decent spacing between the lines of glasses. When you've decided on the spacing use blue painters tape to secure the twine to the back of the frame backing.

And the finished product all hung up!
